16th AUG 2014: Lifting Camp – day # 2 (snatch: 70 kg // C&J: 86 kg)

Heavy Saturday! Challenging mentally to set up for heavy lifts 2 x in one day (morning and evening). I was tired in the evening! I hit snatch: 70 kg // C&J: 86 kg – both lifts were my second lifts at the European Championships back in April. Not bad in training!

:::MORNING:::

Lifting

Snatch: 55 kg (2 reps) – 60 kg (1 rep) – 65 kg (1 rep) – 68 kg (1 rep) – 70 kg (1 rep) – 70 kg (1 rep x 2)

Snatch high-pulls (2 reps): 65-70-75-75-75

Push jerk (2 reps): 45-55-65-75-75 kg

:::AFTERNOON:::

Lifting

C&J: 55-65-75-80-83-86-75-80-85-88 kg

Back squats: up to 4 x 2 reps @ 102,5 kg

Romanian deadlifts: 4 x 4 reps @ 81 kg

Core

60 sit-ups @ 15 kg
60 Russian twists @ 15 kg

Gymnastics

2 x 15 strict handstand push-ups

Endurance

2 km run!
