6th APR 2015: Snatch complex @ 70 kg, C&J complex @ 80 kg, 18 min AMRAP, gymnastics + running

 Day # 58 eating clean.

Training at CrossFit Hellerup and then at Bagsværd Weightlifting Club.

My plan was to take a rest day after yesterday’s competition…. Didn’t go as planned 😜

Squats

Back squat (1 rep): 100-110-115 kg

Kept it light today

Gymnastics

  • 2 x 40 reps shoulder touches
  • 2 x 10 reps ring dips @ 5 kg
  • 2 x 7 reps strict HSPUs
  • 2 x 10 reps supine ring rows

WOD

18 min AMRAP:

  • 15 kipping HSPUs
  • 10 alternating pistols
  • 5 front squats @ 55 kg
  • 30 sec rest between rounds

Result: 9 rounds

Supposed to be other movements in the WOD (pull-ups + DL), but my hands are sore from yesterday’s competition.

Endurance

5 km run

Lifting

Snatch + snatch balance complex (1+1 rep): 55-60-65-70 kg PR

Clean + front squat + split jerk complex (1+1+1 rep): 65-75-80 kg

Clean pulls from low hang: 4 x 4 reps @ 85 kg

Really good lifting session ⭐️

Cool down

2 km run

Sleep: 6 hours. Edema/swell: much better today (thank God).
